Last Saturday, October 5th, more than a thousand people gathered in the Port of Cartagena to run for a good cause: the fight against childhood cancer thanks to the Pablo Ugarte Association.
This edition, of which Yacht Port Cartagena has been a contributor, had some changes: in addition to the 10 km race through the Port of Cartagena and the non-competitive race for athletes with functional diversity, we have enjoyed the wonderful views that gives us our bay with a hiking route suitable for all audiences.
After the effort, children and adults could restock on energy with a solidarity paella, and the music band Canela en Rama livened up the evening at the Club de Regatas Esplanade.
Is there anything more beautiful than combining the sea and sport for a good cause? Yes! That the funds raised have been entirely allocated to the fight against childhood cancer.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers and participants for your solidarity. See you next year!
Here you have some images of the race as it passes through our marina.
