Here are one of the things that make the people who live on their boats, in this case, in the Yacht Port Cartagena, an international marina with capacity for mega yachts and the most competitive prices you can fmd today, so special. Recently Emma and Alex, the Norwegian crew of the boat ‘Do Littles’ invited everyone to a ‘Lemon Drop Martini’, which was part of ‘The Cartagena Lemon party”.
The reason for this invitation was no other than to prevent the dreaded scurvy among the residents of the marina. The rules of game are as follows: you bite a paper bag which is placed on the floor. Then you tear paper from the bag with only the teeth not using the hands and avoiding that the hands touch the floor. Each time when you lift the bag like this you try to cut a piece of the bag with your teeth at the same time. In the end the size of the bag is reduced to a small piece of paper. Then you try to pick up this remaining piece of paper on the floor by blowing, bending down and trying to get hold of it this way. Alex and Claire, won the contest. Claire even managed to pick up a euro coin with her teeth – not using her hands of course.
Tony wrote a song to liven up the party. He composed a song on the guitar and was accompanied by a chorus of female voices. Everyone who saw the performance of the hit ‘Cartagena Lemon Song’ sung by ‘Tony and the tenders’, agree on how much fun the show was and that they had many laughs that night. The Princess Citruella chaired ‘the lemon party’ which began at 1 am and finished… also at 1… pm. Finally note that a hardworking group of residents organized a flea market. It was well attended and the residents enjoyed it very much.
