Our
Location

Cartagena, situated in south-eastern Spain, has an excellent location on the Mediterranean coast, well connected with 2 international airports:- Murcia (AIRM) and Alicante (ALC) and a good network of motorways and railways, which facilitate access and mobility.

Many of our berth holders love YPC as a year-round, great-value home port. Each year, they enjoy cruising to the stunningly beautiful Balearic Islands: Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera, and Minorca.

Why We’ll Never Change Our Marina in Cartagena

WE CAME HERE IN THE SUMMER OF 2021 AND FOUND TO OUR GREAT PLEASURE, NOT ONLY A VERY FRIENDLY, WELL SHELTERED MARINA BUT THE SUPER INTERESTING TOWN OF CARTAGENA. WE CAN EASILY WALK FROM THE BOAT TO GET EVERYTHING WE NEED ALL YEAR ROUND. WE LIKE GOING BACK AND FORTH TO OUR HOME IN THE UK KNOWING THAT OUR SAILING YACHT IS REALLY SAFE HERE IN THIS NATURALLY DEEP WATER HARBOUR. THE ADJACENT YARD CALLED ASCAR HELPS US LOOK AFTER OUR BOAT AND THEN COME SPRING/SUMMER WE CRUISE UP THE SPANISH MAINLAND AND OVER THE BALEARICS. ITS NOW 2024 AND WE HAVE NO PLANS TO CHANGE OUR PLANS FOR A HOMEPORT BECAUSE IT’S JUST ALL VERY, VERY GOOD HERE.
